Peacefully Rooted Sound Healing - Kaitlyn Johnston 

Peacefully Rooted is a state of being - a state of being present in this ever changing world. Within my practice I am here to guide you to feeling at peace within your mind and body. 

Peacefully= is what we achieve from the present moment by letting go of our thoughts and allowing stillness to grow within us. 

Rooted= is feeling grounded in the present moment.

When we plant our seeds within and water them daily our roots will grow giving us the stability and strength to stay present. During this daily process is where we can achieve being more peacefully rooted.  Everything is impermanent, life around us is always changing. We have the choice to feel peace as we keep planting our roots wherever the change brings us.

 Sound Healing:

Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. Whether through the use of mantras, om meditations, or tapping into the physics of music through the Pythagorean Scale of interval and frequency, these various techniques all have the same intention: to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance.


Much like yoga nidra, sound can help facilitate shifts in our brainwave state. By using the concept of entrainment, specific sounds can synchronize our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency to which the brainwave can attune. By using rhythm and frequency, we can down-shift from our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur).
