3 Instagram Accounts that Inspire Us (and why!)

Yes, we know that social media is a very slippery slope when it comes to yoga inspiration. We are not big proponents of scrolling a feed full of flexible people performing poses! However, we certainly believe it is possible to mine social media for radiant jewels of connection, education, and inspiration. If you (like us) find yourself on social media regularly as part of your business, or are just taking on the challenge of using it mindfully, read on to find out who we love to follow and why!

  1. TRACEE STANLEY : SOULFUL

Besides being a radiant goddess, Tracee is one of the most respected and wise teachers of Yoga Nidra in our world today. Erin introduced us to Tracee in 2019 after being blown away by training with her in Asheville. Soon after, we were drawn to the teachings of our own Shea Walker, who - no surprise! - is Tracee’s student. Tracee’s teachings could easily fall under all three categories in our tagline, but SOULFUL just does it for me as every word she writes and speaks just penetrates straight into my soul. If you have a desire to rest in your true nature, visit @tracee_stanley… and your Journey has already begun.

  2. HEART AND BONES YOGA : AUTHENTIC

Brea Johnson, founder of Heart and Bones Yoga, just oozes AUTHENTICity. Her tagline, “uncomplicated yoga for everyday people”, says it all. She teaches yoga that supports a life-long and healthy yoga practice, for everyone. Who could ask for more? Oh, and she is also hilarious! Check out @heartandbonesyoga for Brea’s authentic sharing of healthy, sustainable movement.

  3. JASON CRANDELL : INTELLIGENT

This one sort of goes without saying, but we had to say it. We love Jason for his mix of anatomy-informed truth bombs, dry humor, and honesty. Oh, and NBD… but our dearest Erin completed her 500 hour advanced yoga teacher training with Jason last year! Follow @jason_crandell to infuse your feed with INTELLIGENT yoga content.
